The temperatures November to March average from below freezing 0º C (32º F) in the day to most nights around -18º C (0º F). Extreme lows can run into -40º C (-40º F). In the summer, from May to September, temperatures often reach 30ª C (86º F), and sometimes exceed 35ª C (95º F). There can be a temperature range of 80º C from winter to the summer.
