The Winnipeg International Writers Festival is a literary festival based in Winnipeg.
The annual Winnipeg International Writers Festival runs for a week each fall with occasional additional events throughout the year. While the majority of events occur in Winnipeg there are also events at Brandon University and in rural areas of the province.
The very first Winnipeg Writers festival ran from October 14 to 19, 1997 and hosted 50 writers from Canada and around the world.
The festival involves collaboration from a number of organizations such as:

- Manitoba Writers' Guild
- The West End Cultural Centre
- The Interfaith Marriage and Family Institute
- The University of Winnipeg
- Balmoral Hall School
