Christmas Capital of Canada
Winnipeg is called the Christmas Capital of Canada due to the many snowfalls we have in December.
Winnipeg is pretty much 100% assured of having snow on the ground December 25 which provides us with perfect conditions for skating, sleigh rides, snowball fights, and snowmen.
Christmas lights look extra special when they are glistening off of the snow.
