Leo Mol was born in 1915 in the Ukraine, and in 1948 he and his wife came to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He passed away July 6, 2009.

Leo Mol is a world renown sculptor and has been commissioned by many world leaders.

His sculpture garden can be found in Assiniboine Park where many of his works are on display in a beautiful well treed flower garden.
